Crews continue construction of the Dramatic Arts Building. As work progresses, the project team is sharing upcoming activities in advance.

What to expect
During the week of October 19, storm utility connection work is scheduled to take place on York Street between the project site and the parking garage at 150 York Street. This includes:
- Evenings from Monday, October 19 through Thursday, October 22.
- Each night from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., per coordination and approval by the city, to minimize impacts to daytime traffic.
- York Street will be closed between Crown and Chapel Streets for traffic heading east beginning at 8:30 p.m. each evening to safely complete this work. Detour signs will be posted.
- Road plates will be installed at the conclusion of each night’s work to restore two lanes of traffic on York Street during daytime hours.
All work is weather-dependent.
What this means for you
Vehicles will not be able to enter the parking garage at 150 York Street after 8:30 p.m.
Access for vehicles exiting the parking garage will be maintained throughout the work period. Drivers exiting the garage will be directed to turn left and travel north on York Street.
What’s next
The project team will continue to provide advance notice of alternative work hours and upcoming activities.
