Connecticut Hall interior renovation

This project renovates Connecticut Hall to house the Yale Chaplain’s Office, in addition to student activity space and offices for the Chaplain’s department.  
 
Enhancements are being made to the building for Chaplain’s Office programs, offices, student activity, and kitchen spaces for social gatherings. The renovation includes interior wall configurations to accommodate the program, systems replacements and updates, and accessibility upgrades.

  • Increased traffic and congestion during work hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. 
  • Construction vehicles will access the work area from High Street.  
  • Altered pedestrian routes in the area. 
For the city

This project creates labor hours and trade opportunities for New Haven residents. 

Sustainability
This program is seeking LEED v4 Gold certification, preparing the building mechanical systems in alignment with Yale’s zero carbon commitment.
