Yale is developing a landmark theatrical arts building that brings faculty, staff, students, guest artists, and the public under one roof. This project includes building a new facility at the corner of York and Crown Streets to centralize the David Geffen School of Drama, Yale Repertory Theatre, and portions of Yale’s undergraduate program in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies and a portion of the student organization Dramat. It also involves renovating and connecting a truck loading dock at the nearby Chapel-York garage.

Sustainability
This program is seeking LEED Gold certification. It provides a high-performance design to meet zero-carbon-ready standards with a carbon-free renewable geothermal system and an energy use intensity (EUI) ranging from 60 to 80 kBtu per gross square foot.
